"He had loved me enough to die for me..."

When I was thirteen years of age I went to a Christian camp in Kells, Co. Meath. There I heard the message of salvation. I realised that I was a sinner and needed to repent. I learned that I was loved and accepted by our Lord Jesus Christ. That was in August 1981. Returning home to Durras with the verse from Revelations 3:20 in my heart I found that I had faith and peace like never before.
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. (Revelation 3:20 )
By responding to Him I found that I had entered into a personal relationship with Jesus. I asked Him to forgive my sins and to make me right with God. He had loved me enough to die for me. He had paid fully the price for me to get to heaven. All my sin was completely forgiven. I found real love deep within my heart and soul which I had never known before.
As the years have passed by my heavenly Father has been so faithful and has always been there for me. My happiest days have been when I have been walking closest to my Lord. Living according to His will makes life really joyful.
He is much more to me than anything this life has to offer me. My prayer would be that you would come to know Jesus in a personal way for yourself
